On Sweden’s National Day, Södermalmstorg and Mälartrappan – two new areas at Slussen – will open to the public. To celebrate, the Slussen Project is hosting its annual open house event: A Day at Slussen. It will be a festive day filled with entertainment and activities for all ages. The day will be full of music, games, food, and opportunities to learn more about everything related to Slussen.

In the Nobel Prize Museum’s tent, you can hear about the Nobel Center, a new international hub for science, literature, and peace, opening in 2031 at Stadsgårdskajen next to Slussen. Throughout the day, both kids and adults can take part in a quiz walk, and all children are welcome to craft and make their own water flowers. We’ll also be serving refreshing sparkling tea – the same kind served at the 2024 Nobel Banquet.
