In Alfred Nobel’s will, he articulated a clear vision to work for the greatest benefit to humankind. Since 1901, the Nobel Prize has rewarded researchers, authors and peace initiatives that have done exactly that. In the exhibition Project Nobel Center, you encounter a building under construction – the building that will become a home for the laureates’ stories and groundbreaking contributions.

Gain insight into the architects’ creative process and challenges. Listen to environmental scientists, particle physicists and teachers reflecting on the possibilities of the new building.

A home for the unique legacy of Alfred Nobel

The Nobel Center will be a public building for science, literature and peace at Slussen in Stockholm. It will be an international symbol of knowledge, focusing on the Nobel Prize laureates’ stories and groundbreaking achievements.

The building is designed by David Chipperfield Architects, and the project is made possible thanks to generous donations from Erling-Persson Foundation and Knut and Alice Wallenberg Foundation.
