Concert with Sirintip

Welcome to the opening of this year’s Nobel Calling Stockholm! Together, we look ahead to the week when the year’s Nobel Prize laureates will be announced – one prize each day. The evening begins with an introduction to this year’s Nobel Calling Stockholm, including what to expect at the museum and across Stockholm in collaboration with Stockholm stad (The City of Stockholm).

Next, Swedish-Thai artist Sirintip takes the stage. She will join the conversation to talk about her music and how she works to unite art and science. After the talk, she will perform a concert that blends jazz, electronics, and research.

Sirintip is a singer, producer, and artist who draws on scientific research as a source of inspiration. She has collaborated with researchers and created music inspired by the Nobel Prizes in Chemistry and Peace. Her latest project, Mycelium, is based on research into fungi and plankton. Through a genre-crossing expression, she conveys humanity’s invisible ties to nature – using music, movement, and visuals as her tools.

Cocktails with inspiration from science

During the evening, bartender Niklas Taube will offer a special selection of cocktails, composed with inspiration from science and labs. Try the drinks The Inventini and DynaMINT. Alcohol-free alternatives will be available.
