This year’s Family Weekend at Nobel Calling Stockholm is all about exploring different ways to be creative and to invent something new.
“Hjälp, vi har ingen bra idé!” (Help, we don’t have a good idea!) – A performance for children (and parents) about imagination, creativity, and science, featuring Lisa Ahnlund and Eythor Robertsson from Improstudion. An improvisational theatre journey from fantasy to reality.
The audience contributes ideas – laughter guaranteed! The theatre will be in Swedish.
Take part in a creative storytime with a craft session, where children can make something inspired by the story they’ve just heard. Librarians Hanna Bergeå and Charlotte Tiderman from Östermalm Library will read and lead the craft session following the storytime. The storytime will be in Swedish.
Curious about how to draw manga? Join a fun drawing session with manga instructors from Östermalm’s School of Music and Culture. You’ll learn and try out the basics of manga drawing – how to plan an image, use different styles, and apply simple yet effective techniques. Perfect for beginners or anyone curious about manga! The workshop will be in Swedish.
Throughout the day, a craft corner will be open in the museum where you can make beaded bracelets and create your own bookmarks. Feel free to drop in and get creative when it suits you.
Join a family-friendly guided tour and hear about Nobel Prize laureates who have come up with new ideas and created something original. How did they think? What did they discover? Tickets for the tour can be collected at the museum entrance.
Warmly welcome!
