Experience the light installation that transforms Taxingeplan into an interactive landscape of light and reflection! Through mirrors, colored plexiglass, and light sources, visitors shape the space themselves, and each redirected beam becomes a symbol of change and new perspectives. During the workshop, you’ll to meet the artist Saadia Hussain, participate in discussions, and engage in creative activities around patterns and reflection.
The Light We Reflect is inspired by the 2024 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences and explores how historically rooted power structures continue to influence the distribution of resources and power.
The installation has been created in collaboration with community groups in the Järva area: Språkbruket, Legoklubben, Rokeya’s Sewing Workshop, Låt konsten tala, Träffpunkt för seniorer Spånga-Tensta, Tensta Tech, Järva Gymnasium, and Förskolan Änglan Norr.
