On the Nobel Day, the museum comes alive with festive activities. Enjoy a three-course Nobel lunch accompanied by a classical soloist, watch the live broadcasts of the Nobel Prize award ceremonies in Oslo and Stockholm, or join a guided tour of our exhibition These things changed the world.
The Nobel lunch must be booked in advance, as places are limited.
In the exhibition Nobel Creations, you can experience artistic interpretations of this year’s Nobel Prizes through fashion creations designed and made by fashion students from Beckmans College of Design.
During the afternoon, harpist and composer Stina Hellberg Agback will perform at the museum, enriching the day with the lyrical and playful tones of the harp. She is known for challenging and expanding the harp’s role in modern and improvised music, with extensive experience in both contemporary art music and classical repertoire.
Curious children can become treasure hunters in the museum with our family-friendly quiz Little explorers.
The museum shop offers a carefully curated selection of books, gifts, jewellery, and toys. Take the opportunity to buy Christmas presents with a 10% discount available on this day.
Only the Nobel lunch requires advance booking. All other activities are included with a regular admission ticket.
