This activity is held in Swedish

The Swedish National Space Agency invites you to a series of evening events where conversations with some of Sweden’s leading researchers are followed by a fact-filled quiz, with great prizes for the winning team.

These evenings take us from exoplanets and the extinction of the dinosaurs to life in space and the universe’s most extreme phenomena. Each session is led by an expert in their field and concludes with a quiz open to everyone–no prior knowledge required.

This night, palaeontologist Martin Qvarnström takes us on a journey back to the dawn of Earth’s history, to a world that resembles an alien planet more than the one we inhabit today. Through fossils, dinosaurs and even fossilised droppings, he reveals how life emerged, adapted, and was ultimately wiped out by a rock from outer space.

After the conversation with Martin, the evening ends with a quiz, and prizes await the winners. Team registration opens on site at 16:30. Each team should consist of 2–4 people.

Arantxa Álvarez is the host for the evening and quizmaster.

This event is organised by the Swedish National Space Agency as part of Nobel Week Lights.
