Moonica Mac

Welcome to an evening dedicated to exploring and reflecting on the Nobel Peace Prize announced just hours earlier. Together, we’ll be reminded of, and celebrate, humanity’s ability to create change and make the world a better place.

Join former Minister for Foreign Affairs Margot WallströmIsak Svensson, Professor of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University, and Gustav Källstrand, Nobel Prize expert and historian, in a conversation about this year’s Peace Prize. The discussion will be moderated by Carin Klaesson from the Nobel Prize Museum.

After the conversation, artist Moonica Mac will take the stage for a short concert.

Moonica Mac is a Grammy-nominated, platinum-streamed, and critically acclaimed artist whose music deeply moves her listeners time and time again. With her unique stage presence and remarkable ability to craft iconic and poignant lyrics, she has secured her place in the Swedish music scene.

In 2024, she performed at the Polar Music Prize ceremony, sold-out tribute concerts for Peter Lemarc at Avicii Arena, and for Olle Adolphson and Marie Nilsson Lind / Ainbusk at Cirkus in Stockholm. She has previously toured extensively across Sweden, starred as Sheila in the musical HAIR at Göta Lejon, and appeared on popular TV shows such as Så Mycket BättreAllsång på SkansenVictoriadagen, and the Grammis Awards.

Her past musical collaborations include artists such as Albin Lee Meldau, Benjamin Ingrosso, Tjuvjakt, Stor, Sara Parkman, Arvid Nero, and Stuzzi, among others.

The evening takes place at Kulturhuset Studion, located on the ground floor with its own entrance at Sergels torg 3. The bar will be open throughout the evening, offering refreshments including drinks and snacks.

You’re warmly welcome to stay after the program to mingle and continue the conversation.

Your ticket includes one drink (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) served during the mingle after the program. In addition, all attendees will receive free admission to all exhibitions at the Nobel Prize Museum.
