What comes to mind when you hear the word “economics”? Money, banks, maybe savings and stocks? Economics is about much more than that. For example, economic researchers study human behaviour, the environment, health, psychology and community building.
Last year, research that provided new insights into why there are large differences in wealth between countries was awarded. What is this year’s prize about? Listen as members of the Prize Committee in Economic Sciences explain and discuss the award during an evening at the Riksbank.
Participants include Anna Breman, First Deputy Governor of the Riksbank, along with representatives from the Prize Committee in Economic Sciences. The conversation is moderated by Olof Somell from the Nobel Prize Museum.
