Every day we are asked to take care of each other and think of our loved ones – at the same time as we have to distance ourselves from each other. Two opposites that make the desire to meet stronger.

We get close when we are not allowed to be close. Two opposites that make the desire to meet stronger. We get close when we are not allowed to be close.

Emma Hjortenklev Wassberg and Fredrik Matz

Emma Hjortenklev Wassberg is an industrial and interior designer and has a broad background in, among other things, art and psychology.

Fredrik Matz is a landscape architect focusing on public environments. Together, they have previously won Oyster’s architecture competition with the proposal for a public lighting installation on Stadsgårdskajen in Stockholm.

With such different backgrounds, their work combines a strong sense of detail with a broader perspective on people’s living environments.
