Nobel Week Lights (Opera lights/Kungliga Operan) — Photo: Per Kristiansen. The installation is created by Patrik Becker, Head of Lighting, Sound, and Video, and Hans Håkansson, Lighting Master, at the Royal Swedish Opera.

With dance and music, the Royal Swedish Opera has offered fellowship and community for over 250 years. And they want to continue to do so – even during this dark period. So instead of turning off the lights when all events have stopped, they are illuminating their facade as a symbol of brighter times.

A time when the Opera can once again meet its audience in a dark salon filled with opera and ballet.
