Nobel Prize Teacher Summit

Extended programme

International teachers who attend the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit 2026 have the possibility to add the extended programme from 18–21 March, arranged by the Nobel Prize Museum.

The Extended programme is exclusive for teachers travelling from abroad to Sweden to attend the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit. It is designed specifically for international teachers working outside of Sweden with students from preschool to high school level.

Get to know the Swedish school system from within, meet colleagues for deeper discussions and take the opportunity to see more of Stockholm when visiting the conference.

The registration fee for the extended programme is SEK 2,000, and full access to the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit on 20 March is included.

Preliminary programme 18–21 March

Wednesday 18 March: afternoon programme

A welcome address and an introduction to the Nobel Prize Teacher Summit and the Extended Program at the Nobel Prize Museum.

Reception at Stockholm City Hall with a welcoming by a representative from the city of Stockholm, and a guided tour.

Thursday, 19 March: full day programme

Introduction to the Swedish school system, school visits and workshop.

Friday, 20 March: full day programme

Nobel Prize Teacher Summit 2026 Münchenbryggeriet Stockholm.

Saturday, 21 March, morning programme

Workshop followed by a guided tour of Gamla Stan (Stockholm Old Town).
