This programme is held in Swedish

Welcome to an evening dedicated to exploring and reflecting on the Nobel Peace Prize announced just hours earlier.

We will meet former Minister for Foreign Affairs Margot Wallström, Isak Svensson, Professor of Peace and Conflict Research at Uppsala University, and Gustav Källstrand – Nobel Prize expert and historian. The conversation will be moderated by Carin Klaesson from the Nobel Prize Museum.

After the talk, there will be a concert with Sophie Zelmani.

Alfred Nobel had a strong interest in society and was deeply engaged in the peace movement. Peace was the fifth prize category he mentioned in his will. This evening, we turn our attention to the 2026 Nobel Peace Prize laureate, announced just a few hours earlier. Together, we take a closer look at this year’s prize and celebrate humanity’s ability to work towards a better world.

Throughout the evening, guided tours on a peace theme will be offered, as well as the opportunity to create your own bracelet for peace. All tickets include a drink and a pinsa topped with Västerbotten cheese, onion, and seaweed caviar, served at the closing reception following the concert.

Make a bracelet for peace

Join us in supporting vital peace efforts by creating a bracelet at the museum. Making a bracelet costs SEK 50, and you choose which of the selected peace organisations your contribution will support.

Your donation goes entirely to UNICEF Sweden, or the United Nations Association of Sweden. The selected organisations have either been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize or are affiliated with a Peace Prize laureate. Learn more about their important work on site and show your support for a better, more peaceful world.
