On the Nobel Day, the museum comes alive with festive activities. Enjoy a three-course Nobel lunch accompanied by a classical cellist, watch the live broadcasts of the Nobel Prize award ceremonies in Oslo and Stockholm, or join a guided tour of our exhibition These things changed the world.
The Nobel lunch must be booked in advance, as places are limited. More information, and possibility to reserve your spot, will come during the autumn.
In the exhibition Nobel Creations, you can experience artistic interpretations of this year’s Nobel Prizes through fashion creations designed and made by fashion students from Beckmans College of Design.
During the afternoon, cellist Leopold Inkapööl will be performing at the museum, filling its galleries with warm and vibrant sounds. Guests will also have the opportunity to enjoy a glass of champagne while exploring the museum’s exhibitions.
Curious children can become treasure hunters in the museum with our family-friendly quiz Little explorers.
The museum shop offers a carefully curated selection of books, gifts, jewellery, and toys. Take the opportunity to buy Christmas presents with a 10% discount available on this day.
Warm welcome to celebrate the Nobel Day with us!
