Welcome to the opening of the exhibition Nobel Creations 2026, presented in collaboration with Beckmans College of Design. The exhibition brings together fashion, science, literature and peace.
For the fifteenth consecutive year, fashion students from Beckmans have interpreted this year’s prizes in Physics, Chemistry, Physiology or Medicine, Literature, Peace and Economic Sciences. To celebrate and honour the 2026 Nobel Prize laureates and their achievements, the students have created original interpretations of the prizes in the form of wearable ceremonial garments.
Hear Ebba Kleberg von Sydow, royal commentator and expert on the Nobel Prize Banquet, in a conversation about the Nobel Prize, dress codes and etiquette at the Nobel Banquet, and what it is like to act as an expert commenting on guests’ gowns, attire and fashion trends. Ebba Kleberg von Sydow will be joined by Carin Klaesson from the Nobel Prize Museum.
After the talk, you are welcome to join a guided tour of Nobel Creations 2026 and hear the students present their creations (in Swedish).
This evening, we offer a festive combined ticket for SEK 240, including admission to the museum and a glass of cava or a non-alcoholic sparkling drink.
Members enjoy free admission to the programme and reduced prices on drinks.
