Curiosity draws crowds to Slussen
On Sweden’s National Day, Slussen came alive as it was once again time for A day at Slussen. For several years now, Stockholmers have been invited to explore how the area is taking shape and to meet the many stakeholders contributing to its development.
The Nobel Prize Museum was present with a tent at Södermalmstorg, where curious visitors could learn more about Nobel Center – the future hub for science, literature and peace at Stadsgårdskajen.
Younger visitors had the opportunity to take part in crafts and create their own water flowers, while the museum shop’s pop-up attracted guests with books, gifts and souvenirs.
Many visitors stopped by with questions about Nobel Center. The conversations ranged from why the building looks the way it does to what kind of activities will bring it to life in the future.
