Voices of Tensta

Tech Tensta

Tenstagången | Free admission

Nine youth from Tech Tensta, in collaboration with poet and screen writer Simon Matiwos, have created an artwork inspired by the work of Nobel Peace Prize laureates Martin Luther King Jr, Nelson Mandela and Malala Yousafzai. Their own thoughts and reflections around the laureates are embodied by poetry and spoken word.

These creations are written, performed and recorded by the youth, finalising in a soundscape paired with lumnious benches placed along Tenstagången.

The audience is invited to take a moment and hear the voices, talent and perspectives of youth from Tensta on the work of some of the most iconic peace laureates.
