Nobel Prize Teacher Summit 2018
Teach Love and Understanding
A world without ignorance and racism starts in school. How can we improve the way we promote democracy, non-violence and sustainable development in our daily work as teachers? And how can education based on science prepare our students to be tolerant and engaged citizens?
The 2018 summit focused on how schools can counter racism, extremism and tolerance.
The roadmap is set in the UN’s 17 sustainable development goals. To meet the greatest challenge of our time we need to find an interdisciplinary and creative approach in education.
Teachers from over 30 countries joined Nobel Prize laureates, top scientists, peace activists for the 2019 summit in Stockholm.
