Nobel Prize teacher Summit 2027
The theme
From the very beginning of history, humans have told and listened to stories. By means of literature and storytelling, we reflect on ourselves, empathise with others and expand our perspectives.
What happens in the brain when we read? How do we explain the incomprehensible, and how do stories actually play a role in shaping our society?
At the 2027 Nobel Prize Teacher Summit, we explore the power of stories through the eyes of Nobel Prize laureates, writers, journalists, scientists and teachers. We move between fiction and non-fiction, the past and the future, in a world where both the real and the imaginative shape what it means to be human.
Welcome to this full-day conference dedicated to Why Stories Matter.
