Past Exhibitions

The exhibition “Synapses: Science and Art in Spain from Ramón y Cajal to the 21st Century” explored Santiago Ramón y Cajal’s groundbreaking research and artistic interpretations of nerve cells. His drawings demonstrated how science and art can be beautifully intertwined.

In the exhibition “The Nobel Prize banquet”, visitors were invited into the world of the Nobel festivities. Chefs, standard-bearers, royalty, performers, florists, and Nobel Prize laureates were all presented – individuals who have all been part of the party of all parties.

In the 2020 edition of “Nobel Creations”, students from Beckmans College of Design were inspired by discoveries such as black holes, the gene-editing tool CRISPR, auction theory, Hepatitis C, the World Food Programme’s efforts to fight hunger, and the poetry of Louise Glück.

The exhibition “Läkemedel – inte en lyxvara” was developed in collaboration between Doctors Without Borders and Beckmans College of Design to highlight the fact that life-saving medicines are still not accessible to everyone.

The exhibition “A Right to Freedom – Martin Luther King, Jr” told the story of courage, equality, and the dream of a just world – through images, films, and voices that continue to inspire today.
